Lotus a r\u00e9cemment d\u00e9voil\u00e9 officiellement un tout nouveau prototype, nomm\u00e9 Theory 1. Cette hypercar de nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration est \u00e9quip\u00e9e d’un moteur enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectrique de 1.000 chevaux, promettant des performances th\u00e9oriquement exceptionnelles, le tout dans une carrosserie capable de faire rougir une Lamborghini.<\/strong><\/p>\n La semaine pass\u00e9e, Lotus a rompu son silence et a \u00e9merg\u00e9 de sa cachette pour v\u00e9rifier la loyaut\u00e9 de ses adeptes. Visiblement, il y avait suffisamment de passionn\u00e9s pour justifier la cr\u00e9ation d’un concept et lui offrir une forte exposition m\u00e9diatique. Mais assez de plaisanteries de mauvais go\u00fbt : Lotus demeure un g\u00e9ant de l’industrie automobile, capable d’enflammer les passions, m\u00eame avec un simple prototype destin\u00e9 \u00e0 ne jamais voir le jour en production. Mais est-ce vraiment s\u00fbr ?<\/p>\n Comme souvent, l’avenir de ce concept est incertain. Cependant, Lotus souligne que l’objectif principal est de pr\u00e9figurer les futurs mod\u00e8les de la marque. On peut donc s’attendre \u00e0 revoir certains \u00e9l\u00e9ments de ce design dans de futurs v\u00e9hicules.<\/strong> La Theory 1 arbore n\u00e9anmoins un design inhabituel pour une Lotus. Les lignes sont tendues et anguleuses, avec une face avant extr\u00eamement raccourcie qui semble plonger vers la route. Le clou du spectacle r\u00e9side dans ses porti\u00e8res en \u00e9lytre s’ouvrant vers l’arri\u00e8re !<\/strong><\/p>\n L’int\u00e9rieur de la Theory 1 est r\u00e9solument moderne et plut\u00f4t radical. Les si\u00e8ges baquets sont r\u00e9duits \u00e0 leur plus simple expression avec des rembourrages tr\u00e8s fins, fix\u00e9s directement \u00e0 la monocoque en fibre de carbone.<\/strong> La planche de bord est anguleuse et minimaliste. Le volant carr\u00e9 et futuriste int\u00e8gre un \u00e9cran en son centre pour les instruments de bord, tandis qu’une partie des informations est projet\u00e9e \u00e0 la base du pare-brise.<\/p>\n Au niveau de la m\u00e9canique, la Theory 1 repose sur une motorisation 100% \u00e9lectrique d\u00e9veloppant 1.000 chevaux. La puissance est transmise aux quatre roues, permettant \u00e0 l’engin de passer de 0 \u00e0 100 km\/h en \u00ab moins de 2,5 secondes \u00bb.<\/strong> Selon Lotus, cette hypercar peut atteindre une vitesse de pointe de 320 km\/h. En termes de praticit\u00e9, la batterie de 70 kWh offre une autonomie de 402 kilom\u00e8tres.<\/p>\n Il reste \u00e0 voir ce que Lotus conservera de ce concept-car pour ses futurs mod\u00e8les de s\u00e9rie.
